Objectives

 IEEE IES Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics (TC-II) is an International Research Committee of Excellence

The IEEE IES Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics is a world wide International collaborative research committee, incorporates world class research leaders, research groups, and top Universities as well as the International Research Centre for Stringology and Application (CSR since 2008), the Excel Research Centre at UTS (since 2007), the University Research Institute of Applied Science at La Trobe University since 2004, the University Research Centre on Logistics Informatics (since 2001) at the University of Newcastle and the Knoweldge based Research Institute Melbourne since 2000. The Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics has developed into one of world’s outstanding committee of research excellence with researchers at the cutting edge of the most exciting and significant fields. Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics has a unique position internationally working at the intersection of IT and Business and other human endeavours encapsulated by its motto of "creating value by making connections".

It’s targeting of the key areas of research identified in the world, Defence and International governments, namely industrial informatics in Defence, public and private sectors.
